What We Do

Skills that pay the bills.

Darcy Street Project has a simple approach: We focus on skills that enable our students to prepare and adapt for any situation in Hospitality.

Input.

Developing Digital Literacy & Financial Literacy

Without having a place to apply enterprise skills, the system breaks down. So from the very beginning we made sure that we offered work experience as part of our theory of change model.

Process.

Creativity, Critical Thinking & Code of Ethics

Students learn important theory, apply practical skills and interact with customers in a real life setting.

There is no better way to learn than hands on, on the job.

Output.

Teamwork, Communication & Presentation

It’s hard to build a sense of teamwork in an environment that doesn’t understand you. Darcy Street is a place for everyone to belong, work together and feel good about their own growth & contribution.

Since 2014 Darcy Street Project has provided real work experience opportunities to thousands of at risk and vulnerable young people, early migrants and refugees, as well as mature-aged unemployed individuals.

Through bespoke coffee making, BBQ and hospitality workshops as well as employment and educational pathways, everyday we are open is a day we’re helping change lives for the better.
